This week, the Palamós Fisheries Producers Organization (OPP) has participated in Salón Gourmets in Madrid, one of the leading international trade fairs dedicated to high-quality food and beverages.
The OPP manager, Cristina Mañas, and Oriol Trencs attended this professional event with the aim of showcasing #dePalamós products to the hospitality and restaurant sector, highlighting their quality, proximity, and strong connection to the territory.
During the fair, Espai del Peix, the gastronomic classroom of the Museu de la Pesca, was presented as a key tool for promoting and raising awareness of local seafood products through a live showcooking held on Tuesday in an institutional space of the Ministry of Fisheries. The red prawn was the star of the demonstration, which attracted a large audience and showcased the product through its preparation and tasting.
Participation in this type of event strengthens the promotion strategy of Palamós seafood products and consolidates the sector’s presence in key commercial spaces, connecting directly with professionals from the gastronomy and hospitality sectors.
